Protecting newborn lives through early prevention and care
In collaboration with Britannia Nutrition Foundation, under the Swasth Bharat Programme, we are working to protect the youngest and most vulnerable. Through the distribution of mosquito nets to newborn children aged 0–4 months, we are helping prevent vector-borne diseases such as malaria and dengue during the most critical stage of life.
Implemented across 75 Anganwadi Centre areas in the Sirsi, Mundgod, and Haliyal blocks of Uttara Kannada, this initiative focuses on safeguarding newborns and supporting maternal health.
From July 2025 till date, mosquito nets have been distributed to 315 newborn children, creating safer sleeping environments and healthier beginnings for families at the grassroots.
