Empowering Women Through Capacity-Building: Success Stories from Kodihalli and Neshwi

Empowering Communities from the Ground Up

Under the REWARD Programme, we successfully conducted a series of capacity-building trainings in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture at Kodihalli and Neshwi, aimed at strengthening community institutions at the grassroots.

At Kodihalli, S3 SHG training focused on empowering women through improved group functioning, financial literacy, and livelihood skills, while A3 Area Group training enhanced farmers’ understanding of improved agricultural practices, resource management, and collective planning.

At Neshwi, E3 Executive Committee training strengthened leadership capacities, governance, and effective decision-making for effective programme implementation.

These efforts continue to build resilient institutions and support sustainable, community-led development.
